Voiceover from Your Head Instead of your Chest

There are many different ways to manipulate how your voice sounds while still sounding like it comes from you naturally. I’m by no means a master of a thousand voices but when Wikipedia was looking for someone who sounded “youthful” and “millennial”, that’s usually a cue for me to take my voice from a place that usually starts somewhere in my chest and raise it up to somewhere around my nasal passages. Not dramatically. Just enough to signal an audible difference in pitch. Along with it comes a perspective shift. You’re relating something to a friend, not hard-selling them on a service. “Hey, check this out. This might be of interest to you.” As opposed to, “CHECK THIS OUT! YOU NEED TO BUY THIS NOW!”
